Athens

Athens Info Guide has a huge amount of excellent general tourist information about the capital city, as has the Athens Survival Guide.

The Athens City Guide, Athens Greece Guide, and Breathtaking Athens are also useful.

There are a huge number of sites with information about the city's archaeological sites and museums.  The following are a just few examples:

Acropolis - Parthenon

Ancient Agora

Hadrian's Arch

Temple of Zeus (The Olympeion)

Kerameikos

National Archaeological Museum

The site of Athens international airport includes live flight arrival and departure information.

Greece in a Wider Sense

The Greek Ministry of Culture has excellent information about archaeological sites, monuments and museums of Greece as well as cultural events.

The Greek National Tourism Organisation, with a huge amount of very useful information.

Greek Travel Pages also has a lot of very useful tourist information.  It's especially useful for its detailed (and normally accurate) information about most ferry schedules.  The site also has telephone numbers for port authorities that can usually confirm schedules.

Greek Island Hopping has useful (though in some cases a bit outdated) information about travelling in Greece, particularly concerning ferry safety.  Ignore the site's ferry timetables because ferry times regularly change (see above).

Many islands have their own small sites so it's always worth trying a web search for, say, "Syros home".
